Forever Cycling East Herts

What is it?

Forever Cycling aims to get people physically, mentally and socially active by combining a gentle seated cycling element (using floor pedals for ease of use) with a virtual route displayed onto a screen.

The Routes

Using the MotiTech library of venues, we can virtually cycle over 2000 routes with every week and every session featuring different routes. There are over 30 countries on the list from some of Europe’s finest like Italy, Austria and France to some of the world’s most exotic locations, from Bondi Beach in Sydney to the beach in Phuket, Thailand and everything in between.

Expect to start your session exploring the British countryside with the first 20 minute route coming from the UK. Favourites include Windermere, Liverpool or even taking a trip through Longleat Safari park (including the monkey enclosure).

The second route of the session normally takes us abroad with some memorable routes taking us through Death Valley, meandering down the streets of Jerusalem or exploring the Dubai Marina

Don't just take our word for it ...

“Motitech are delighted to partner with Adam and Active East Herts.  We feel the great work Adam and the team are doing is of huge value to the community and a fantastic way of engaging our seniors to remain physically active  during their “golden years”.

I bought my 80 year old mum who is very frail with Parkinson's and a knee replacement that has left her unable to walk. Adam and his team were excellent . They accommodated my mums needs and we're very supportive. The group was very very friendly . They all cheered when she reached 1000 reps. The coffee was a welcome break giving everyone time to chat. Mum and I loved it and it has given mum an amazing boost

Thank you sincerely to Adam and his team

I have witnessed on so many occasions all the benefits of being able to provide the community with the Moti Tech Cycle events . I have attended at all of the venues on behalf of Home Instead East Herts . It really does  tick all the boxes for health and well-being . People with memory loss reminisce and have fun with others . Other participants have met new friends , benefitted from exercising in a safe, fun  environment and cycling the virtual streets is a great way to visit places you have been or would like to visit   There are no negatives at all.  Just love it. Its the best initiative I have ever been involved in .  Long May it continue .
