Sports Clubs
Active East Herts is focused on working with the community sports clubs and voluntary organisations to assist their development. Active East Herts work with neighbouring Districts to deliver an annual ‘Sports Forum’ whereby Clubs can receive support and help based on their needs. If you would like support, whether that’s club funding, marketing strategies or up-to-date governance information, please register your club with us by completing the form at the bottom of this page. Additionally, if you are an individual coach or activator, please also feel free to register yourself, stating ‘self employed’ under Club name and we’ll be happy to help.

Sport England is the place to go for club support and you can access a range of their support via their club matters web page.
You will find a wide range of tools, guidance and resources that cover all aspects of running a sports club or group – everything’s free, bitesize and simple to use.
Sections include welfare and safeguarding, volunteer development and facility support.
